CSS -- Frequently Asked Question: I am taking a class now on web development and am not really sure exactly how CSS works. Any tutorials available on this so that I can learn to read CSS and create the layout?

CSS (Cascading Style Sheets) is a stylesheet language used to determine how a page is presented in the browser. You use it for styling HTML web pages.

CSS allows authors to move much of that information to a separate stylesheet resulting in considerably simpler HTML markup. With CSS you can have every page of your website reference the same file for page styling, so to change the look of your site you only need to modify one file.
